Holdings & investment
Sourcing, diligence & ownership
Finds the businesses and assets that fit the portfolio, leads the diligence, and stays close once we own — chairing boards and steering strategy.
About the firm
Draycott Holdings exists to be the kind of owner every good business eventually needs — long-horizon, hands-on where it helps, and content to let compounding do the work.
Our story
Draycott Holdings was founded on a simple frustration — with capital that demands too much, too fast, and with ownership that treats businesses as line items rather than lifeworks.
We built the firm we wished had existed when we were the ones seeking a partner: permanent capital, patient owners, and governance that helps rather than hectors. From London, we have assembled a concentrated portfolio of operating businesses and assets across the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and select international markets — each one chosen because we believe time and care will change its outcome.
The name Draycott borrows from the English tradition of stewardship — of land, of enterprise, of things meant to outlast their owners. That is the discipline we bring to every holding: to leave the businesses and assets in our care stronger than we found them.
We are not the largest firm in our field, and we have no ambition to be. We aim instead to be the most dependable — the partner a founder calls first when the question is not "how fast?" but "how well, and for how long?"
How we think
Five convictions shape how we deploy capital, choose partners, and govern holdings. They are the reason we turn down far more than we accept.
Permanent capital with no forced exit. Time is the advantage we offer the businesses and assets we back.
A small number of considered positions we can know deeply and govern actively — depth over breadth.
Board representation, operational support, and capital planning. We govern — we do not collect rent.
Clean structures and incentives pointed the same way as the founders and managers we back.
Few decisions, made well. The discipline to say no is what protects everything we say yes to.
We aim to leave every holding stronger than we found it — businesses built to endure, not to be stripped.
Who we are
Draycott is deliberately compact. We work across four connected areas — bringing operators, investors, and advisers to the same table, with the group's own capital behind every decision.

Group companies
Among the holdings in our professional & technical services portfolio is European Technical, a licensed Dubai home-maintenance and technical-services business and the group's presence in the United Arab Emirates.
Owning and operating a business day to day is the surest guard against the detachment that ruins so much private capital. It keeps our judgement tested against real customers, real crews, and real margins — and it shapes how we evaluate every other position in the portfolio.
European Technical offers AC services, plumbing, electrical work, painting & decorating, handyman and general maintenance, appliance repair, and annual maintenance contracts for villas and apartments across Dubai. It is, for us, both a holding and a compass.
